First aid training: A weapon to avoid Traffic Death

-->

According to data released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there are about 43,000 people killed in deadly car accidents each year in the United States. Every year, thousands of people are died on accident spots and some of them snap their continuity with life before reaching medical facilities. Between an accident site and a hospital, there is a long gap that decides whether an injured will die or not. It is the crucial period that can reduce the accident mortality rate only if injured gets timely medical attention in the form of first aid.

First aid is an initial care for a sick or injured person given by non-expert but trained personnel until he/she gets proper medical treatment by medical experts. It is meant for the accident victims so that they can get immediate pre-medical help. But, rendering pre-medical aid to injured people is not possible for all. That is why first aid training matters the most and plays a vital role in saving precious human lives from being perished on the road. Preserving life and promoting recovery are the two main mottoes of the first aid training that might save a dying person and turn his death into life.

ABCD of First Aid Training

first aid certification
Undoubtedly, first aid training is designed to render trainees lessons on life saving so that human patients can get timely treatment and medical care. Promoting recovering and preserving life are the two key skills for which the training is provided. When we talk about ABCD of the training, we talk about specific lessons of first aid. In the training, the term “ABCD” stands for airway, breathing, circulation and deadly bleeding or defibrillation.

ABCD is an essential part of every first aid program that primarily focuses on critical life-saving intervention given to human patients before treatment of less serious injuries. ABC focuses on patients’ smooth and free breathing ensuring continuance of life. If patients do not respond positively, first aiders perform chest artificial respiration and compression exercises so that patients can feel easy and convenient breathing.

There are different techniques of performing ABCD on patients but the major thing that matters the most is the level of skills attained by first aiders. ABCD is a perfect tool of preserving the life of human patients suffering from wounds, injuries, falls, slips and accidents inside or outside their concrete-made structures.

In the same manner, the concept of 4Bs also stands for breathing, bleeding, brain, and bones.

What Makes a First Aid Training Institute Special?

A first aid training institute is an educational center where training for first aid is offered to trainees by professional and medical experts. It is a method of knowing about the process to preserve human lives, prevent further injuries and promote health recovery. All training institutes seem same, but they are different in types of training methods and procedures.

First of all, the thing that makes a first aid training program special is the goodwill and popularity of the institute where the program is offered.
The second thing that matters the most is the availability of excellent printed support materials and training materials with award winning videos.

Another thing that catches all eyes is the presence of expert and professional instructors having a good command over their subjects.
A good training center always offers an easy-learning and low-stress class environment that infuses a lot of confidence in trainees.

A good and customized program always focuses on its main objective and prepares trainees to face emergency medical conditions with confidence and give proper, initial medical care and support to wounded and injured people before they are taken to hospitals.

It will be good and fine if the training institute can offer its training program at a competitive price that suits all trainees perfectly.

The Value of BLS Certification Classes

With Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, a trained individual knows exactly what to do when working on someone facing a life and death situation due to illness or injury. The most crucial and important facet of using lifesaving measures is that each step to be followed exactly. The American Heart Association publishes each year’s guidelines, that provide proper methods of CPR and use of the AED emergency response system, and also highlights the alterations from the prior year’s publication. In addition to reading and referring to the guidelines, you will be required to undergo special training after which you will become certified.

With BLS certification in hand, you would have a clear understanding of approved and prescribed techniques associated with saving life, whether for an infant, toddler, child, or an adult. Whether certification is acquired through traditional classes or via the Internet, its benefits are great.

While there are many different benefits of becoming BLS certified, the truth that basic life support skills actually can save lives – this is the greatest reason for getting proper training. As a part of basic life support and advanced life support education, you will be taught how to take action opposed to panicking; a major example is with someone having a heart attack.

Considering all benefits of becoming BLS certified, the ability to keep a person alive is the greatest gift of all - hence taking BLS certificationclasses from Adams Safety Training is a wise decision. Child CPR Certification

According to the American Heart Association's guidelines Child CPR can be administered to any victim under the age of eight. The first thing to remember about Child CPR is that in children cardiac arrest is rarely caused by heart failure but rather by an injury such as acute poisoning, smoke inhalation, or even head trauma, which makes the breathing stop first. And since children are more resilient and flexible than adults - statistics have shown that they tend to respond to CPR much better if administered as soon as possible.

If you are a certified infant and child CPR parent, it is advisable for you to ask your childcare provider, your partner and even your child's grandparents to take the certification classes. It is essential for any adult who has contact with your infant or child needs to be able to perform CPR in case of an emergency. Also remember to renew your certification as recommended by your instructor. The program will enable you to handle circumstances like scene assessment & barriers, primary & injury assessment, choking management, control of bleeding, shock management, diabetic emergencies, illness assessment, respiratory problems, etc.
