According to data released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there are about 43,000 people killed in deadly car accidents each year in the United States. Every year, thousands of people are died on accident spots and some of them snap their continuity with life before reaching medical facilities. Between an accident site and a hospital, there is a long gap that decides whether an injured will die or not. It is the crucial period that can reduce the accident mortality rate only if injured gets timely medical attention in the form of first aid.
First aid is an initial care for a
sick or injured person given by non-expert but trained personnel
until he/she gets proper medical treatment by medical experts. It is
meant for the accident victims so that they can get immediate
pre-medical help. But, rendering pre-medical aid to injured people is
not possible for all. That is why first aid training matters the most
and plays a vital role in saving precious human lives from being
perished on the road. Preserving life and promoting recovery are the
two main mottoes of the first aid training that might save a dying
person and turn his death into life.
