ABCD of First Aid Training

first aid certification
Undoubtedly, first aid training is designed to render trainees lessons on life saving so that human patients can get timely treatment and medical care. Promoting recovering and preserving life are the two key skills for which the training is provided. When we talk about ABCD of the training, we talk about specific lessons of first aid. In the training, the term “ABCD” stands for airway, breathing, circulation and deadly bleeding or defibrillation.

ABCD is an essential part of every first aid program that primarily focuses on critical life-saving intervention given to human patients before treatment of less serious injuries. ABC focuses on patients’ smooth and free breathing ensuring continuance of life. If patients do not respond positively, first aiders perform chest artificial respiration and compression exercises so that patients can feel easy and convenient breathing.

There are different techniques of performing ABCD on patients but the major thing that matters the most is the level of skills attained by first aiders. ABCD is a perfect tool of preserving the life of human patients suffering from wounds, injuries, falls, slips and accidents inside or outside their concrete-made structures.

In the same manner, the concept of 4Bs also stands for breathing, bleeding, brain, and bones.

  2. Due to recent allegations against Kando Consulting and IQ First Aid, we have decided to release an initial statemet that will both clarify our position and answer the concerns raised. This has become particularly important in light of the fact that AoFAQ have badly mishandled the malpractice investigation into IQ First Aid and subsequent complaints.
